Product Description
The Extricom RP-33n is a powerful 802.11n access point with three on-board radios and internal antennas for maximum throughput and easy deployment of 802.11n with or without legacy Wi-Fi. The EXRP-33n is equipped with three a/b/g/n radios, each of which can be operated on the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band to provide network administrators with the ultimate in RF deployment flexibility. Since most of the system intelligence resides in the Extricom WLAN switch, AP installation is truly plug-and-play. APs can be deployed in any density, with whatever spacing needed to guarantee high-quality, high-speed connectivity everywhere. Key Benefits High throughput due to very efficient use of 2.4 and 5 GHz bands by Channel Blanket architecture Rock-solid wireless connections that behave like wire Full support for 802.11a/b/g/n devices 3 internal 802.11a/b/g/n radios, supporting, up to 3 channel blankets Rogue detection GbE port for AP to switch communication 802.3af PoE supports maximum air rate on all radios Key Features Tri-Radio Access Point with Integrated Antennas – Works in Mixed 802.11 a/b/g/n Environments. Up to 450 Mbps air rate (Up to 260 Mbps TCP traffic) With 3×3:3 Spatial Stream MIMO Transmit Beam forming (TxBF) for signal phase alignment and improved range* Space Time Block Cycle (STBC) provides added robustness for an environment where there are multiple transmit chains and only a single receiver chain* Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) technology provides improved performance in error detection and correction* Maximum Likelihood (ML) detector to achieve higher accuracy demodulation Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) Rx Peak Detection for interference detection, providing better performance in environments with a high level of interference WEP, TKIP and AES hardware encryption * Future firmware upgrade required
